Opened in 2005 by the late Magnus Magnusson and named after the well-known Scottish ornithologist and wildlife artist, Donald Watson (1918-2005), the gallery is a custom-built display space which has been committed to exhibiting the best wildlife art from across the country since it opened in 2005.

Nature is both inside and outside when you visit this unique gallery which has stunning views of Aberlady Bay Local Nature Reserve. The gallery offers a year-round programme of exhibitions focused on nature, and in particular the inspirational world of birds. The exhibitions present a great variety of wildlife artists from all over the UK working in different media including painting, printmaking, sculpture and photography. THE CURRENT EXHIBITION

Our Online Art Shop complements the physical gallery by providing a selection of artworks by regular exhibitors. These are unframed works on paper, such as prints, drawings and watercolours that can be viewed and purchased from our website, and sent anywhere in the UK.
